I'll carry you.
I'd say he was a mountain,
a rock,
a truth, a strength,
to make my life a happy one, he'd go to any length.
The road was never easy,
i put him though his paces,
a bitter pill to swallow,
see the disappointed faces.
With age there came redemption,
a pretty price to pay,
motherly intentions...
my daughter washed my sins away.
The flow of life was beautiful,
id won the testing game,
goodbye to sin,
to drugs,
to lust,
goodbye you dirty shame.
Life will teach you lessons....
the best you ever knew,
its colourful expressions,
the red,
the green,
the blue....
But err the twists of fate,
as every story can....
change from shades of wonderful,
to a dark unknowing plan.
Hidden in the shadows is a nasty , evil, cloak....
it smothers those it chooses,
with its thick black cancer smoke.
The man that was my mountain,
my bright beacon of light,
his youthful flowing fountain had been stolen in the night.
My shoulders are so small,
but till the end ill carry,
its no burden at all.....
for the one who named me sally.
I'll be here when your eyes open,
or choose to close them still,
i'll know that you walk peacefully upon Gods lush green hill.
I thank you for my life...
the good,
the hard,
the sad,
one day ill walk on gods green hill,
with my hero,
my best friend,
my dad ♥
